How to Convert Denier of PP Woven Fabric to GSM

  Normally, we measure the thickness of PP woven fabric in GSM. In addition, it also refers to "Denier", which is also a measurement indicator, so how do we convert the two? First of all, let's see what's GSM and Denier mean.  1. What is GSM of pp woven material? GSM means grams per square meter.   2. What is Denier? Denier means fiber grams per 9000m, it is a unit of measurement that is used to determine the fiber thickness of individual threads or filaments used in the creation of textiles and fabrics. Fabrics with a high denier count tend to be thick, sturdy, and durable. Fabrics with a low denier count tend to be sheer, soft, and silky. Then, let's do the calculation upon an actual case,  We take a roll of polypropylene tape (yarn) from the extruding production line, width 2.54mm, length 100m, and weight 8grams.  Denier means yarn grams per 9000m, So, Denier=8/100*9000=720D Note:- Tape(Yarn) width is not included in calculating Denier. लूम ऑपरेटर के लिए सुझाव v अपनी मशीनों को एक निष्चित अवधि पर साफ करते रहे। यह जर्रूर देखे कि , रिड रिंग के ट्रैक में टेप के टूटे हुए टुकड़े धूल अधिक मात्रा में चिपके हुए तो नहीं हैं । क्योंकि अधिक स्पीड होने के कारण मशीन के चलते हुए स्तिथि में उड़ कर टेप तोडते रहते हैं। v यह निष्चित करे कि क्रील पर सभी धागों के साथ ड्राप वायर लगा है या नही , यदि नही तोह धागों के साथ ड्राप वायर अवश्य लगायें। v धागों के साथ लगे अतिरिक्त ड्राप वायर हटा दें। ऐसा करने से भ्रम की स्तिथि पैदा नही होगी और ड्राप वायर गिरते ही पता लग जायेगा कि ये किस धागे का ड्राप वायर है। अतिरिक्त ड्राप वायर धागों में असमान्य टेंशन बढ़ाते है। जिनसे इनके टूटने की स्थिति बनती है। v ड्राप वायर हमेशा सीधा डाले , आड़ा या तिरछा नही। v ड्राप वायर सीधा डालें उल्टा नही क्योंकि उल्टे ड्राप वायर धागों का टेंशन बढ़ाते है। v एक ही वजन के ड्राप वायर का इस्तेमाल करे ताकि सामान्य टेंशन सभी धागों पर हो। v टेप के टुकड़े या सफाई में निकले धागों को बैग या उपलब्ध डबे में डाले ताकि धागे गाइड रोल्स में न फसे। v गाइड रोल्स में ...
